Love Some1 with Glut1 2022

Picture
Please help us keep our mission in motion!
The Love Some1 with Glut1 annual campaign is the signature awareness and fundraising event for the Glut1 Deficiency Foundation, running from February 14-28, Valentine's Day through Rare Disease Day. It is an important opportunity to educate others and raise essential funds to help better serve the needs of our patient community through our mission programs for increased awareness, improved education, advocacy for patients and families, and support and funding for research.

Participating in the Love Some1 with Glut1 campaign is easy, and the impact, when we come together, is huge.

In addition to our regular activities, we are working on some big and important goals for 2022 that you can help achieve:
  • host our 9th family conference to bring families together to meet, share, and learn
  • host our 2nd scientific convening for researchers and clinicians to exchange knowledge and ideas
  • launch our Research Roundtable program to build a collaborative research network
  • begin implementing and funding our newly developed patient-led Research Compass

($969,806 in research funding to date!)
  • launch a natural history study to better understand life-long patient experiences
  • expand our educational exhibits to reach new audiences of medical professionals
  • build new partnerships for family support and international awareness day projects
  • create a new website to serve as a hub for information, support, connection, and hope

Thank you for supporting us as we continue our work to bring help and hope to everyone, everywhere, who is affected by Glut1.

This year's campaign will be dedicated to funding projects to drive progress in our new patient-centered Research Compass.
