Facebook Patient Support Group

Meet Some1 with Glut1 is a Facebook group for teens and adults with Glut1 Deficiency.  It is a place where patients can go to talk, share, encourage, and support each other.

This group is only open to patients (not parents).  A Glut1 mom created a great closed and private Facebook group called Glut1 DS Care and Support if you are interested in joining an international parent group.

To protect patient privacy, Meet Some1 with Glut1 patient group is a secret group where only members can see messages and the names of members in the group.  It is administered by the Glut1 Deficiency Foundation and moderated by two adult Glut1 Deficiency patients.  The G1D Foundation will not share names of members or information posted in the group.

If you are a person with Glut1 Deficiency and would like to join, please do these two things:

1.  Fill out the form below.
2. Send a friend request to Glenna Spencer Steele on Facebook so she can add you to the group.

Please contact Glenna by email if you have any questions.

Don't forget to send a friend request to Glenna Spencer Steele on Facebook so you can be added to the group.
