Research Grant Program
Research Grant Program
The Glut1 Deficiency Foundation’s Research Grant Program offers funding for research directly related to Glut1 Deficiency and associated disorders. These grants are made possible through the generosity of our donors - friends, family members, classmates, teachers, neighbors, teammates, and others who are inspired by someone they love and care about who is affected by Glut1 Deficiency.
These grants, typically in the range of $10,000 to $50,000, are intended to fund initial research hypotheses that have not been fully explored or provide funding to sustain ongoing laboratory research programs. Results from this initial research can form the basis to apply for larger governmental or private grants.
To see our previous grant awards, please visit our Research Grant Award Recipients page.
Research Grant Awardees are required to give updates on their work throughout the grant cycle and encouraged to present their findings at our biennial conference and poster session.
