Flash Talk Presentations
In place of a traditional poster session, the GLUT1 Deficiency Scientific and Family Summit will feature 5-minute flash talks from students, early-career investigators, and researchers new to the GLUT1 Deficiency community.
See our special announcement - we are pausing flash talk applications while we work through confirming our registration space. If you are already registered and would like to submit a flash talk application, please reach out to Glenna or Sandra
Subject Areas:
- subject areas may include (but are not limited to) scientific research and clinical research or case studies
- please see our Research Compass for particular areas of interest
- original topics as well as those presented recently at other meetings are welcomed, just please note any previous presentations in the application
Flash Talk Presentation Details:
- The flash talk session will take place in person on Wednesday afternoon, July 15th
- Speaking timeslots are 5 minutes each
- Five speaking slots are available
- There will be a separate Q&A opportunity
- Flash talk applications will be open through May 1st or until slots are filled
- Decisions and notifications will be made within 5 days of submission
- Presenters will receive free Summit registration and be offered a travel stipend to help support the cost of attending the full Summit
- Stipends are up to $1,000 for those based in the United States and up to $1,500 for international and will be paid out as reimbursements after the Summit
