GLUT1 Deficiency Community Events
GLUT1 Gatherings on Zoom
Join us for regular opportunities to gather virtually on Zoom to meet others in the global GLUT1 Deficiency community, share support and encouragement, and learn more about the day to day of living with this disease. There are several different groups, and we'd love to have you take part. Join our Family Network to stay up to date and get notices and registration links for future sessions.
GLUT1 Deficiency Research Workshops
The G1DF provides important opportunities for the scientific community to come together both in person and virtually to help foster collaborations, drive research progress, and improve patient care. Learn more about upcoming opportunities and see summaries of past events. Join our Professional Network to get invitations to stay up to date.
GLUT1 Deficiency Foundation Conferences
The GLUT1 Deficiency Foundation hosts biennial conferences to bring the community of patients, families, clinicians, and researchers together to meet, share, and learn from one another. We are just wrapping up our 2026 Summit, which was nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Asheville, North Carolina. We'll be sharing some resources soon, including a written summary of the conference proceedings.
We invite you to go ahead and save the date for 2028 when we'll gather in Gulf Shores, Alabama. We have a few details on our website already, and keep checking back as planning progress moves along. We expect registration to open in fall of 2027.
