Glut1 Deficiency Summit


We are delighted to share that the next Glut1 Deficiency Summit - our 12th community convening - will be held in July 2026 in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina.

We look forward to welcoming the community for another incredible opportunity to meet, share, and learn alongside each other as we work to drive research progress, foster collaborations, improve patient care, and ease burdens.

Many more details will be shared as we get closer to the date, but here's a general overview of the planned structure for the 2026 Summit:

Day 1 - Monday, July 13th

  • afternoon kickoff
  • flexible activities
  • special interest group meetings
  • exhibits
  • cooking demonstrations
  • evening welcome social

Day 2 - Tuesday, July 14th

  • whole group sesssions
  • clinical focus with interactive sessions on symptoms, treatments, and strategies

Day 3 - Wednesday, July 15th 

  • family track and scientific track separate sessions
  • closing social

The Embassy Suites Downtown Asheville will be the venue for both guest accommodations and the meeting.
