How is Meredith so lucky?

Overcomers have been meeting on the second Sunday of every month for over six years! What began during COVID-19 lockdown has grown into a lasting community that continues to keep GLUT1 patients connected beyond conference times.

Hosting this group is one of my favorite parts of being Program Director! They keep me on my toes, and I learn something new from them every month!

This group knows their trivia, and they definitely know how to have fun! In September, we switched things up a bit and played virtual BINGO!

After five separate rounds of BINGO, we had five different winners (Meredith even earned a few double wins)!

We put everyone’s names in a hat and drew two lucky winners to receive prizes. Meredith (to no one’s surprise!) and Craig were both selected and received movie theater gift cards!
