Love Some1 with Glut1 2025
We are thrilled to share an update with results for Love Some1 with Glut1. Thanks to the support of many, we met goals and crossed finish lines with this year’s campaign.

We are just so grateful and so excited for the opportunities that this makes possible.
Here’s what you’ve done!
- The two clinical trials in development can be fully funded and planning can continue.
- The Research Workshop in July we are hosting will have opportunities for researchers to present projects for potential funding. This workshop will be key, too, for several initiatives we are planning and the work groups that will be formed there, including center of excellence models.
- You provided fuel for all the other work of the G1DF, too, – animal models and tools for research, our biorepository and natural history study, educational exhibits at professional meetings, our support programs and informational resources, and preparing for our family and professional Summit next year.
Progress never comes fast enough when we are watching our loved ones suffer, but it is up to small rare disease communities like ours to provide the fuel, the inspiration, and the direction to those committed to helping us to make progress possible at all.
We couldn’t be more grateful to you for fueling these efforts, and we hope you feel and see the impact you are helping make. We also hope you feel empowered and take pride in the role you are playing as we work together to bring change and build hope.
We celebrate all of you for stepping up and stepping out to shine a bright light on Glut1 Deficiency and giving others the opportunity to be part of making such a difference. Every team member, every donation, and every gift no matter the size has put a big exclamation mark on what is possible when we work together for things that are important to all of us.
So, thank you.
We are also giving special recognition to some of the team members for the individual accomplishments.
