T-shirt Design Contest for Love Some1 with GLUT1 2026!

Love Some1 with GLUT1 T-Shirt Design Contest:
We are planning ahead to our annual Love Some1 with GLUT1 campaign in February 2026, and we’re bringing back something that has been a big hit in the community – our T-Shirt design contest!
You can enter for a chance to have your design featured on this year’s exclusive t-shirt!
Our goal is to have the shirt design winner selected and the Bonfire shop set up in time for you to order and have them to wear during the campaign if you’d like to. We are also very happy and grateful that the Foy family has granted us permission to include their IRISH for a Cure design that will be perfect for St. Patrick’s Day, too, so you’ll have some great options as way to show your support and raise awareness, and a portion of each sale benefits the G1DF.
The campaign theme for 2026 is a new twist, too – we’re tapping into the 2026 GLUT1 Deficiency Scientific and Family Summit location – Asheville, North Carolina – nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Appalachia. We’re carrying that theme over for the shirt design contest, too, and we will also have the winning design on sale at the Summit.
THEME:
Primary Tagline: Climbing Mountains Together
Secondary Tagline: “powered by science, strengthened by hope, lifted by love – join the climb!”
You can incorporate any of those elements into the design, and we hope the theme has given you some great inspiration for creativity.
Submissions are due on December 6th – we can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with this year!
Tips and Guidelines:
- The design must fit the “Climbing Mountains Together” theme.
- It must be an original design.
- The submission should be in digitized form in order to be used on the T-Shirts.
- Using fewer colors keeps a more affordable price when it is time to buy the shirts.
- Email all submissions to Glenna at [email protected] by December 6th.
By sending your submission, you’re giving permission to the GLUT1 Deficiency Foundation to use your design.

we are so grateful for the help!
